Dr. Marsh is a retired Navy chaplain with over 30 years of experience in all areas of marriage and family counseling and mental health counseling. These fields include intra-cultural marriages, conflict resolution, parenting and childhood developmental issues , family wellness, spiritual values development, pre-marriage preparation, pre- and post-divorce issues, alcohol and substance abuse, marital communications, relationship development, and domestic violence prevention.

Dr. Marsh is a licensed and ordained Southern Baptist minister as well as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. Additionally, he is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors, a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, the Christian Care Network, the American Counseling Association, and the Anxiety Disorders Associations of America.

Dr. Marsh also has expertise in the areas of stress related problems, mass-casualty assistance issues and staff/employee relationship development. He is a certified instructor in Basic and Advanced Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD). He has extensive experience working in institutional settings and providing training in the identification of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. He also has expertise in Ethics in Leadership, Staff Relationship Development, Suicide Prevention and the assessment of individual personality traits.  He is also EMDR qualified.


Prior to your first visit, clients should print off and fill out ALL forms.  Completed forms should be brought to your first appointment. 
If you are coming to counseling as a couple or family, every individual will need a set of form.
