Dr. Doster's professional fee of $90 is due at the end of each session. If at all possible, no new client will be turned away because of finances. Negotiating the fee is an important part of the therapeutic process. It builds trust and helps to clarify therapeutic goals.
As you consider your flow of income and specific goals for counseling, keep this question in mind: "How much can I reasonably afford to set aside monthly for counseling, without it causing me more problems?" We will then discuss frequency and length of visits.
If Dr. Doster is considered by your insurance company to be an "out of network provider," you may request a statement of services to submit to your insurance carrier.
