Dr. Neal is a licensed professional counselor and a marriage and family therapy intern. She graduated with her Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Masters in Psychology and Masters in Gerontology. For the past 8 years, Dr. Neal has worked in an outpatient setting with clients who exhibit symptoms of depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. She has worked with various populations including the mentally ill, childhood behavior difficulties, marital, family, and relationship difficulties, residents of nursing homes and assisted living programs, and groups and individuals suffering from grief, anxiety, and depression. Dr. Neal provides play therapy for children ages 3- 10.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Neal also teaches a behavioral science course at the University of Phoenix. Dr. Neal is married and has one daughter. She is a life long resident of Louisiana and currently resides in Covington, La. .
Dr. Neal's areas of expertise include play therapy, children, adolescents, parenting issues, depression, grief and loss, aging issues, loss of functioning anxiety and marriage counseling.
Prior to your first visit, clients should print off and fill out ALL forms. Completed forms should be brought to your first appointment. If you are coming to counseling as a couple or family, every individual will need a set of forms.
